Jack Stollsteimer, Delaware County District Attorney

Greetings!

Thank you to all the residents of Delaware County for placing your trust in me to ensure that justice is done every day, on behalf of all members of our diverse communities.  My staff and I are honored to be able to work throughout the county investigating and prosecuting crime, supporting initiatives to reduce crime, supporting sensible alternatives to incarceration when appropriate, and collaborating with other agencies to bring about comprehensive changes that improve the quality of life for all who are touched by the criminal justice system.

Like many of you, I’ve lived almost my entire life here in Delaware County.  I grew up in a union household and worked hard to put myself through college and law school.  I began my legal career first as an intern and then as an Assistant District Attorney in this office. I was quickly assigned to the United States Department of Justice and became an Assistant US Attorney, where I led a gun violence task force in one of Philadelphia’s most deadly neighborhoods.

As District Attorney for Delaware County, I strive to bring ethical, thoughtful leadership to the office.  My staff work full time on the cases and issues that impact your daily lives with professionalism and integrity, balancing toughness with compassion, while advocating for victims of crime, and always seeking to deliver justice for all.
