Media, PA – On Thursday, July 21, 2022, members of the Delaware County Narcotics Task Force arrested Jacob Senkow following an investigation and execution of a search warrant outside of his residence in Tinicum Township. Senkow was in possession of a ghost gun, methamphetamine and numerous pills. Despite the efforts of Senkow, a convicted felon, to grab the unregulated handgun from his waistband when being taken into custody, he was apprehended quickly and without harm to the arresting officers or members of the broader public.
The Narcotics Task Force is comprised of law enforcement officers from local police departments as well as members of the County’s Criminal Investigation Division, or CID. “I want to commend Sean Ryan of the Tinicum Township Police Department and Thomas Kesser of the Folcroft Police Department, as well as our other County Narcotics Task Force officers for taking another drug dealer off our streets,” said DA Stollsteimer. “This case highlights the increasing danger to our police officers and our community from the easy availability of ghost guns – unregulated firearms – in this case by a drug dealer prohibited from possessing a firearm under our laws,” Stollsteimer continued.
Senkow was arraigned by Judge W. Keith Williams and is being held on $250,000 cash bail.
The District Attorney and the Criminal Investigations Division remind anyone in Delaware County who observes suspicious activity call to 911 immediately and provide the most specific and accurate details possible to assist law enforcement agencies investigating the call for service.
