PRESS RELEASES
District Attorney and County Council to Observe National Crime Victims’ Rights Week
Delaware County District Attorney Jack Stollsteimer and Dr. Monica Taylor, Chair of Delaware County Council, announced their plans to observe National Crime Victims’ Rights Week with an event in front of the County Courthouse at noon on Thursday, April 25, 2024.
According to the National Office for Victims of Crime, “this year’s national theme—How would you help? Options, services, and hope for crime survivors.—focuses on the moral responsibility we all have as human beings to actively participate in the healing of others. It is a call-to-action for us all to create safe environments for crime victims to share what happened to them. By doing so, we’re able to offer support, options for life-saving services, and, most importantly, a pathway to hope.”

“Since the earliest days of the postal service, the safety and security of mail carriers has been of paramount importance. Our system for distributing mail cannot function unless carriers feel confident about their physical safety.
