On Call Procedure
For your convenience, the ON CALL Procedure will allow you, as a witness, to remain at home, work, school, etc., until you are needed to testify in Court. A representative of the District Attorney’s Office will contact you by telephone to appear in the District Attorney’s Office at a specific time.
In order to qualify for ON CALL, you must:
- Be available by telephone from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the week of your scheduled trial date.
- Be available to arrive at the District Attorney’s Office within two hours after receiving the telephone call.
If you have any questions about the ON CALL procedure, please call the Victim Witness Assistance Unit of the District Attorney’s Office at 610-891-4227. Please have your subpoena when calling and when you appear at the Courthouse.
